OT question for the men........
Being short makes it quite challenging to find dates. Just about every profile I see on dating sites the women want a guy that is 6' + tall and works out in a gym 7 hours a day hehe. Why a woman needs a man 6' tall when she is 5'1 is beyond me. Frustrating.

I think it's all about the dynamics of the relationship..... perception and the image/vibe it puts out just like any other article of clothing and the way you carry yourself and what your projecting.
Without seeing the shoes you mention, I would think they could be deemed FMP's right from the get go and projecting an image of putting yourself out there. This may offer an immediate disconnect from your partner, height issues or not.
You can read into it a thousand ways......and only you can make that assessment.
Also you need to consider your husbands feelings on what he is seeing with your WL........ this may be all new to him and if he has any insecurities..... this is probably not helping.
Without knowing you or the dynamics of your marriage.....impossible to make a blanket statement.
But here is an example (I hope she doesn't mind me pointing her out) although she is not taller than her husband in heels.....she pulls it off very well.....I mention this because I don't think it would matter if she was taller than her husband.....it's the way she carries herself......
Our Elina has expressed how thrilled she is to wear clothing and shoes to match her spirit after WL. She can wear the heels and form fitting clothes and is always put together very well..... She can project her "sexy" in a very sophisticated "married/mom" kinda way.(hope she doesn't get pissed about that) She carries herself in a very "not available" way which is very attractive on it's own, but does it in a way that is stylish and represents her family and makes her husband proud to have her on his arm. Man.... I hope I'm getting the point across.......
Let's just flip it for a minute...... your husband loses a bunch of weight...... now he is very conscious of his appearance.....groomed, clothed, poking his chest out with more confidence and putting himself a little more "out there" and you become a little further in the background.... how are you gonna feel......
Not saying at all that any of this pertains to your situation......you ask for male opinions and I guess my "short" answer to your question is it "depends" on how you carry/present yourself.
And here is another thought.....If your husband doesn't like you going out with him in your 5 inchers... Is he OK with you leaving the house in them for girls nite out? Just a thought !

In our marriage I was always the dominant personality and I have always been on the "tom boy" side of things, no makeup, no skirts/dresses or girly things, really rough and tumble kind of chick. In the past few months I have found that "pretty" girl who has always been in there, but pushed to the back because I never felt like I could be her, I wear makeup every single day, I dress more girly and the clothes are definitely more sexy and form fitting then ever in my life, but I am still mainly a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl (only now, I like to wear my crazy shoes with my jeans LOL).
Another thing that jumped out at me as I was sitting here thinking about the whole thing is that I have always acted older then my actual age, mostly b/c I felt physically older and didn't want to be out doing the things people my age where doing b/c I wasn't comfortable doing them, so the age difference (19 years) between my husband and I was less noticeable, but now I want to be out there doing what my friends are doing (and they are married with kids too, so it's not crazy stuff) and he isn't used to that either.
Hmmm, lots to think about.
Oh and these are the latest shoes to come live in my closet, the ones that made him lose his **** and tell me that I am not aloud to buy any more heels, I got these to wear with jeans (and you can see my everyday shoes in the background as contrast, I LIVE in my All Stars LOL).

Those are definite FMP's
No if ands or buts.......just need the clear soles to be full on stripper shoes......
You would need to be really good to pull those off !!!!!
Don't get me wrong.... I love em.....If you were my wife....the only place I wanna see those.... are around my neck......!!!!!!!
Just sayin......there are hundreds and hundreds of other shoe choices that would satisfy your inner girl and be much better for your projected image......
Unless your 19 and single....you got you some awesome bedroom shoes !!!!!
There are tons of other styles that would be much better to wear with jeans.......

Your kinda freaky in that good kinda way !!!
See...even those shoes that girl is wearing would look much better in jeans......nice studded or riveted diagonal strap detail for a little edge..... flat soles....lower heel.... you got your look and hubs is all good... !
Buy more shoes !!
