I mentioned on the Torani syrup thread that I wanted to start a new post where people could post their favorite Torani flavored protein shake.  It would really give me some ideas on new things to try so I don't despise my shakes so much!

I used the coconut Torani to make (theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com) Shelly's coconut cheesecake protein ice cream and I liked it!

1 cup Vanilla Soy Milk (or regular milk, I used skim milk)

2 scoops vanilla protein powder

2 TBS whipped cream cheese

2 TBS sugar free Torani Syrup (coconut flavor for this recipe)

1/4 cup crushed pineapple, drained

2 TBS Unsweetened coconut, toasted

Mix cream cheese and syrup together.  Mix together milk, protein, and pineapple.  Add cream cheese mixture.  Pour into ice cream maker.  Follow your machines instructions for freezing.  Five minutes before done, add coconut.  You can eat it right away.  It is soft serve-ish...or you can let it set in the freezer for an hour or so.

Please share some of your ways you use Torani syrups to make your protein more interesting!

Here's one of my favorite protein shakes:

1 cup fat free milk
1 scoop protein powder (I like Designer's Whey)
3 slices no sugar added frozen peaches
1 spoonful of Torani Vanilla syrup

Toss all ingredients in a blender and blend. Delicious!

One of my fav, I don't have it every day as it's a little rich:

1C unsweetened almond milk
1scoop NOW brand unflavored Whey Protein
1/2tsp glucomannan powder (fiber that acts as a thickener)
dash Dulce deLeche DaVinci (caramel would prob work too)
15g PB flour

Sometimes a 1/2tsp instant espresso powder for more depth of flavor.. let sit for a while in the fridge to thicken a bit.. tastes like a PB cookie to me!

I usually make protein coffee or have my unflavored powder mixed with almond milk, espresso & instant coffee crystals, dash amaretto flavor and thickener.. yumm!

if you go to the Torani website there is a place to put your zipcode to find out where they have it closeby to purchase. I got mine from smart and final and the local Bashas and Walmarts carry it too.

Thanks for the recipes so far! Let's keep 'em comin'!

My one and only 2 a day protein shake is:
4 oz water
4 oz milk (I use Hood Calorie Countdown 2%)
1 scoop Dymatize ISO-100 Gourmet Vanilla protein powder
3 pumps Torani SF Chocolate Syrup
1 heaping tablespoon instant coffee

Morning I mix it in my shaker cup (with blender ball) and add a few cubes of ice.

Evening I blend it with ice in the magic bullet

The above recipe is 141 Calories, 2 Carbs and 28 grams of Protein.

YUM!!

My general recipe is:

1/2 cup almond/soy/coconut milk (whatever I feel like)
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup cottage cheese
1 scoop protein powder
1-2 tbsp sugar free torani

Fav torani combos:
With Vanilla protein- black cherry, caramel, raspberry, hazelnut, white chocolate

With chocolate protein- hazelnut, caramel, English toffee, black cherry, vanilla

I also recently purchased a bottle of sugar free cinnamon dolce syrup from Starbucks. Can you say amazing?!
