I fought with my doctors for four years and told them I had thyroid problems. My TSH was always normal and that's all they would check. I drove my docs crazy for over a year and finally my doc gave me a blank lab slip and let me pick which test I wanted done. I had the labs check my fT3 and fT4 which were totally off the charts. One was high one was almost 0. I also checked myself for autoimmune diseases like lupus and had them do an ANA which showed I actually have Hoshimoto's Thyroiditis.  Thyroid disease has been one of the most difficult obsticals in my life. I either feel up or down, there is no in between for me. My levels literally go from extreme hypo to extreme hyper almost every other day.   Good luck to you! I hope you get it figured out.

Thank you so much for the insight!! I believe they checked all three, TSH, t3 and t4, but because it was from my surgeon's office I have to wait for my PC dr. to give me more info.!

Thanks again! I appreciate your sharing, it really helps me know what I need to do!

Hear this! I lost ZERO for the first 3 1/2 weeks! I went to my post op appointment with nothing gone!

The doctor said not to worry! He said only weigh once every 2 weeks.

Right after that point, the weight started dropping off. It has been consistent up until 4 days ago, where it has been flat. I am not worried.

Wow! Thank you SO much for that! I can't tell you how frustrating it is to be eating right, a lot less, and exercising and not seeing results!! I just want to start the downward journey :)

Thanks again! Your experience gives me hope :)
