A goofy NSV, feel free to laugh at me.....
I often run at night, I live in a kinda gated community that's pretty safe (everyone knows everyone, people are always around no matter what time it is). I wear ear phones, and one of the tricks my self defense teacher taught us to watch shadows when any one of our other senses was impaired for some reason. So tonight I was running and I looked to my left only to see a shadow on the ground along side me and I panic and immediately whipped around and got into my defensive stance (took a year of self defense, another reason I don't mind running at night LOL) ready to punch someone in the throat, only to find NO ONE was there, it was my OWN freaking shadow and I didn't recognize it.
I am sure if any of my neighbors was watching they must have thought I lost my mind, but I gave myself a good laugh and the adrenaline helped me get though the rest of my run LOL

In my head I have the mission impossible theme playing. Yay for skinny shadows!
