The Silk Coconut milk I use is 80 cals a cup but only 1g of protein.

Could that 552 possibly be like cream of coconut, like you'd make piña coladas with? Super sweet & thick?

I like the Silk Coconut Milk but tend to go for the Silk Light Soy for the extra few grams of protein.

The brand I have is SO Delicious.  And it's not. Delicious.  LOL

Just tried it.  I'll drink this glass of protein but that's it. The rest will go down the drain.

Yeah the protein is too expensive to throw away lol. I've choked down some yucky ones out of cheapness lmao.

I'm not going to ask my husband what he paid for the coconut milk.  I don't want to find out it cost a lot.  LOL

I use coconut or almond to MAKE my protein shakes and I can't really "taste" it.

It's not that I can taste it.  In fact, I had hoped it would have a coconut sweetness to it.  I just haven't mastered the art of liking shakes that aren't made with milk, unfortunately.

Sometimes I add a few drops of coconut extract to my chocolate protein shake, it changes the flavor enough to make it a treat for me.

I hadn't thought of that.  I know lots of people use syrups and I dislike artificial sweeteners so much I haven't broken down and tried any of those, but extract would work!

No, no reason not to use it and I personally like it MUCH better than almond milk for my protein shakes!!! I buy the unsweetened from Trader Joe's...
