And this is what is left:

and my drawers!

The worst part is, some of those shirts are still too big but I had to have something, then the jeans do fit but it's too bloody hot to wear them and the sheer shirt is a Med. someday shirt so also not wearable.

I managed to get a pair of jean shorts from Old navy on clearance for $6 and 2 pair of capris at the local charity shop, but though both were 16's only one fits (apparently Docker runs small, or everything else runs big).

I'm not going to run out and buy a ton of clothes since I know I'm losing fast but jeesh who knew I'd really have so little.

I took five yes 5 bags to Goodwill and now stand and stare trying to figure out what to wear to work of what I have left.

I keep shirts - it's ok if they are baggy in the winter as I can layer; keep good fitting pants/capris/shorts, but I'm flying through those every two weeks.  What was tight two weeks ago is now baqggy...5x to 18 now... almost hurts my head to think about it.  Over the weekend, I took advantage of double off and purchased some new clothes.  I wore a new outfit today and cannot believe the comments... guess people are tired of seeing the same old, same old every day too!!

Can't afford to do that often, but it felt good and I feel good today!!!

Best on your journey... love the 'empty closet syndrome'!!!!

OMG gurl!!! As much as I want to say that sucks you hardly have any clothes left, part of me wants to cheer you on for getting too small for all your old clothes . . . GO GURL!!!!
Good thing you will be cautious when buying clothes during your weight loss phase because you will literally shrink before you get the chance to wear most clothes if you buy them in your current size.
You are doing awesome by the way, congrats on your success so far!!!

Exciting, but also a struggle when looking for something that fit**** some Goodwills and Salvation Army stores. I found many name brand jeans this weekend and black pants too. I am stocked up as I lose weight, but currently, not many things fit me just right at this point. Cannot wait to actually wear something fitted and soon! Maybe you will be blessed by finding a garage sale with just the right sizes for you right now. Maybe they will even be a quarter a piece. Wouldn't that be wonderful!

Wow, you really did get rid of everything!

I have smaller sized clothes left so still have plenty--but so much of it is already worn out.  I don't know why I held onto it!  Probably just never got around to doing anything about it.  I need to finish my closet.  Thanks for the nudge.

And congrats!!!!!!!

Because we are military and regularly move (ok we've moved 7 times in the last 5 years so we move a LOT), I've never kept clothes I didn't fit in.  So I don't have that cushion that a lot of people have of clothes they grew out of and now shrink back into.  Luckily I have some lovely ladies around me who have given me some clothes, when I get into 14s I'll be set!  But right now at 16 I have very little.
