Thank you so much for the advice. I definitely plan on listening to it, and bringing my own items. It'll also save me some money, only having to buy water there!

The first thing I wanted was a huge dill pickle. Don't know if they have that at the ball park. I snuck mine into a movie and enjoyed every bite.

Not sure if they've got the big dill pickles. Never been much of a pickle fan myself but glad you enjoyed it :)

I'm with Elina! Bring your own food. Don't risk getting ill at the game and also, it's far too soon to be thinking about "fitting" a food into your plan. You're just getting cleared for solids. It took me weeks and weeks to just get comfortable eating a solid meal. I kept going back to softs and protein shakes so my sleeve could ease into solid foods.

Play it safe. YOu've done so well this far. Keep your record going!

Thank so much. You're right, I am definitely going to play it safe and bring something myself. So far my sleeve hasn't met a food it didn't like, but I don't want to risk that! Thanks again

Im a Texas Rangers fan, and I am going to a game next week. I am going to try and find some chili, but I will also have my purse filled with jerky and pork skins. This way if I do get hungry, which I don't think I will, but I will be prepared just in case!

Hi Elise!

I can only say that I agree with the others who say to bring something. Jerky is a good choice! I want you to know I love the Sox and hope you have fun! I am a freaking anomaly in Texas! I am a HUGE Red Sox fan, have been since a little kid. I think I watched a movie about the curse of the Bambino and then I just decided I loved the Sox and have been injected with the Red Sox bugever since! My parents were totally confused and so has everyone else who has ever asked me who my favorite sports team is! I have always lived in the South and never even been to Boston or anywhere near it, but I've always loved the Sox. I bawled like a baby when they won the World Series! I was SOOOO happy!! So you go to that game and have fun!! One of the things on my bucket list is to go to Fenway Park and see the Sox play! Have a blast and GO SOX!

That is freaking AWESOME!!
Little fun fact: there's a road here that goes along the river called Storrow Drive; a tiny bit curvy. One of the bigger bends used to have a sign on a bridge above the road that said "Reverse Curve." Well, several years before 2004 someone had the idea to spray paint the sign so that it said "Reverse the Curse." No one painted over it or tried to clean it up or anything. After the Sox won in 2004, the sign was taken down, but I always remember it when I pass that bridge!!
If you ever get the chance to visit, do it!!

Treat going to the ball park like any other restaurant - hit the web and do your research.  My first day on puree's I went to a Tennessee Titans game.  I found a turkey butger at the concession stand.  I threw away the bun, got it plain. and chewed it like mad.  It was good.  I could only eat about half of the patty.

Look online and see what the various concessionaires have.  One other poster mentioned shrimp - thats a good lean source of protein.  I am sure someone will have turkey burgers or turkey hot dogs, just get them plain and dont eat the bun.

Looking at the link below you have lots of awesome options:

Skip the sausage.  You know you shouldn't do it so don't/  Avoid falling into your old habits.  HAve fun at the game with your friends and family.  You don't need the food to have fun.
