Hey everyone!! Just checking in to see how you are all doing? So far I have lost a total of 54lbs and I am sooooo happy!!
However, I do have a love/hate relationship with my sleeve! I love that I have a smaller pouch, and a built in alarm reminding me when I have had enough to eat. However, I hate the fact that I can not eat and drink at the same time, and that one day I can eat a piece of grilled chicken, and the next day it makes me gag!! I love the fact that I have lost 54 lbs in three months, but I hate that I still suffer from bad reflux!
Oh well, I will take the good, the bad, and the ugly any day rather then be unhealthy, and morbidly obese!
I would love to hear from my March 2012 family and see how you are all doing!!

 Hi there sleeve sister!

I am down 62lbs so far, with about 40 more to go.  I have been lucky and don't have reflux.  I am in love with my sleeve and been pretty lucky.
I am looking forward to reaching goal - although I worry constantly that I won't.
I stay right around 500-550 calories a day, under 20 carbs, and I get about 60-80g protien a day.  I make sure to get my water in.
I am happier, and healthier.

I LOVE my sleeve. I've had absolutely no issues. I can eat whatever I want except from time to time ground beef settles hard. It settled heavy before surgery too. I actually prefer to eat chicken or fish because of the high protein low calorie content. So far I've lost 60lbs in 3 months!! I've dropped 2 shirt and 2 pant sizes. My only regret is not doing it sooner.

I was sleeved March 9. Im down 60 lbs. My 3rd month check up was yesterday DR. is pleased with my results so far. Im eating 600-800 cal a day 75 grams of protein and try to stay under 40 carbs a day. My downfall my water intake. I can only drink about 30-40 oz of water on a good day. Im exercising 4-5 times a week for about 1 hour to 1 1/2. I love the fact that I can now jog, bike, hike, swim, with out being embarssed or ashamed. I know the weight loss will slow down however at this rate I will be at my goal by Fall. I have a long way to go but Im confident and determined more then even to get there! My new stomach can tolerate most foods. I've had a problem with ice cream 2X therefore I wont be eating ice cream any time soon. I have ate red meat but I dont prefer it. I tend to stay with chicken, fish, sea food, and turkey

I'm down 47 pounds since surgery, 56 if you count preop. I love my sleeve, but I do get irritated that I can't eat and drink together sometimes, and that I have so many vitamins to take right now. It's a trade off, I guess.

Sleeved March 28th and down 86 pounds! Loving my sleeve and it's been the best thing that I have ever done for myself!

I eat between 600-800 calories a day and stay under 20 carbs. I've dropped from a size 22W in the waist to a size 12 regular in misses and dropped from a size 2 X in shirts to a medium in regular misses. I've also lost a whole size and a half in shoe size!!! Crazy!!

I find that I can tolerate most any food except for eggs and tortillas. I've had no problems since surgery and I'm off of all of my medicines, even my blood pressure medicine!!

Rocking the sleeve here and I couldn't be more happier and healthier!

I hear ya!  It was 96 in Boston today. I worked outside all day and am absolutely parched but waiting to drink cus I just ate!  Other than that I wish I did this earlier!  Tons of energy, no more blood pressure meds, no more sleep apnea, up at 430am 3 days a week to work out, I bike ride, and I'm just happier overall.

I'm down about 60 lbs and very happy with my sleeve. I've had a couple instances where I've eaten too fast or a spoonful too much and had that uncomfortable feeling, but in general this tool has been very positive!
