Welcome back man....missed ya. Sounds like you have been busy.
What is this about astronomy? I enjoy that hobby also. I sold my telescope when I moved out to CA about eight years ago so haven't been doing any observing for awhile but its nice to see another space guy. I usually just hit up the local observing sessions with the astronomy club and use all the others.

What new telescope did you buy?
I used my frequent flier miles to buy a Celestron 4SE, just a little 4 inch Schmidt - but it'll get me started again. It has a sweet computer control system that I can interface with my computer or iPad. Looking forward to getting ack into it. Mi just got too out of shape to enjoy it before. I'm adding a new section to my blog detailing my observations, it's cool I wrote a program to create the base entry from the telescopes log files. Two geek hobbies killed in one shot, LOL

It's refreshing to hear that someone is excited by their work...I love it! Too many people live for the weekend and live for vacations and retirement. Don't get me wrong, I love all those things myself but they are few and far in between. Go get em in Chicago!
