Stranger Stupid Comment
So I'm at Ross looking for some smaller sizes since I have shrunk 3 sizes and have little to wear. I'm no longer in the plus sizes and I was browing through sizes that are 1-2 sizes smaller than I am currently.
This mother and daughter are shopping and the mother says - "these sizes are not for fat people"
I could not belive my ears. I looked up and stared at the mother (probably in her 60's) and the daughter giggled (she was in her 30's at least).
Yes I may be a 16-18 now but I have lost 50 pounds and no longer wearing 2 and 3 x sizes. How dare a stranger make a comment like that and then laugh at me. Shame, shame, shame!!!
Society frowns on all types of bullying, racism and hate - unless it's toward the heavy. I'm not the butt of your jokes lady.
I rushed to my husband's side and was so shaken. He went looking for the ladies but they ducked into the dressing room so we left with my heart in tatters.

Yes, "SHAME ON THEM"... from your icon picture-- You look AMAZING!!!!! I can't believe anyone would say something like that!
From my own experience, any time I've ever said something "ugly" or thought something rude .... I cursed myself. I never wanted to be the size of my Mom (now I am 50lbs heavier than her). I've given the evil eye to a family w/ a misbehaving toddler. My Child paid me back in spades for every thing I thought my child would never do :-)... So don't worry, their evil will be repayed to them.
As for you ---You should be PROUD of yourself. You are doing the right things and look great! Size 16-18 is wonderful. Can't wait til I am shopping for that size!
BTW-- Super proud of your Hubby. Sounds like u have an amazing man 2.. He had ur back!

That was very rude of them. And honestly, how did they not know you weren't buying something for someone else anyway? I've seen smaller people shop in plus size stores, because they are buying clothes for other people. In any event, I just don't see how people get pleasure from putting other people down.
