Just saw this article and it makes me angry for anyone that has gone through this.
I understand that this country needs to be protected, but at the same time, I am sure she had a medical information that could have been provided.
Anyways I know alot of people travel for their surgeries so I just thought I would share this.
This article is about what this womans body search was like after post op on her way home.

There was a lack of professionalism on their part.
There was NO need to make the ugh sounds or speak on what it may or may not look like or give a repulsed facial expression.
However, on the other side I can understand them wanting to check her because it's about the SAFETY of all of us that travel.
Let's flip the script & say it would be better off if she was able to provide a health card stating her medical condition during the initial pat down. She has made several trips & never once patted down? Why was this time so "special"!!??!!
Plus we should NOT have to ask for a private room as passengers, we should get it automatically!
Can you tell I'm on the fence with this issue!?!?

I'm not on the fence at all. I object to the intrusiveness of the TSA. There are other countries with longstanding terrorist threats that do not treat travelers so poorly.
I hope she receives some kind of recompense. Applying chemical substances to someones drain tube is just plain asinine.
