Home from Breast Reduction/Lift
It is weight removed but not that much, less than a lb. I weigh about 3lbs more today than yesterday morning because of all the fluids they pushed into me and swelling, but I had a killer loss last week (5lbs) so I'm not sweating the gain, I know what it's from.

So glad you're on the other side, and recovering well! Remember to listen to your body & don't push too hard too soon. You're going to be so much more comfortable with your running and horseback riding!

In two decades I've lost a total of 789 pounds. I should be hanging from a charm bracelet. Erma Bombeck

Like the others, I hope you're recovery is quick and all goes smoothly for you.
I'm looking forward to having 'the job' done once I'm done losing weight and nursing kidlets. Am looking forward to continuing the mommy makeover.
I've gone down from a 44DDD to a 38D and hear you about smaller droopy boobs. But am loving my smaller size - I've never understood why women would pay to have such behemoths, as for me they were sooo uncomfortable.

I had a reduction done 8 years ago. I was shocked at how small they looked immediately after surgery. Right now, there is a lot of swelling around your rib cage because a full reduction is a pretty invasive, slice/dice surgery. The area between your breasts and under them is swollen and looks similar in size to your breasts so knowing you true size is impossible. Plus, you are probably wrapped in ace bandages now to keep everything immobile, which flattens everything. It takes at least two weeks to start seeing some definition and a full month to really get a good idea. I went from a size 38M to a 36/38D. They removed four lbs. of tissue, but everyone who saw me (and didn't know about the surgery) thought I had lost 30-50 lbs. because of the difference in the way that clothes hang/fit.
It will be one of the best things you've ever done for yourself. 8 years later and I'm still thrilled with the results.
