Hey, I forgot to ask.  Did you drain the ricotta before using it?

I didnt have to drain my ricotta, it wasnt runny. But if it was, I suppose I would drain it.

Today makes day 9 and I am counting down for the purees next week.  It so funny I cooked a pot of beans and put them in the blender and refried them with drops of olive oil put them in the freezer and ready to ear with mozzarella melted cheese or sprinkle Parmesan.  I would like to have that ricotta bake recipe, is there anyway you can pass it to me.

It does get better every day.  If it wasn't for my incisions,  I would not believe that I had this surgery last week.

Good luck and please share any other puree ideas

I use Prego spagetti sauce 2 eggs and 1 cup of Mozzarella. I made two layers with the extra mozzarella on bottom and top and broiled last 5 minutes.  I have been making this since I started Atkins in '02.  I was suprised to see how close it was to hers.  Also when ready you can add lean ground beef/turkey, finley browned to the Spagtti/Marinara sauce.

I would also appreciate the recipe for the ricotta bake. I see so many people raving about it and I don't want to miss the boat when my time comes :-)
Thanks!

I made a pizza ricotta bake. Ricotta mixture the same, I blended canadian bacon and a little turkey peperoni with my pizza sauce then poured in over the cheese mix and added the mozzarella. Yummy!! Also have made crustless pizza with the sauce, meat pureed into it and cheese on top, melt in oven, tastes as good as pizza, and I loved pizza. There is actually a pizza place here in town that makes those for anyone *****quets. The owners mom had WLS a couple years ago and that was when they started it.
