Cottage Cheese...?

Just wondering what you lovely sleevers put in it to make it less... awful. I can't stand yogurt, so that is totally out of the question - I used to love cottage cheese until I overdosed on it and ate it every day for a year. Now I am trying to up my protein, and I figure this is a good way to do so. What do you put into your cottage cheese, or yogurt for that matter, to make it more appealing. I am a big one for fresh peaches and pineapple, but new ideas are always welcome :)

I haven't had my surgery yet so I don't know if these foods are allowed, but I like cottage cheese with either tomatoes or cukes.

I put splenda on the cottage cheese. And for Greek yogurt I think Torani sugar free syrup is the best thing ever. It really makes a huge difference!

I was curious about sweetening it up a bit! I'll have to try it tomorrow morning with some splenda! Never even considered cucumbers or tomatoes, and I love both of those things.

Singdoremi, eventually those foods will be allowed into your plan - just make sure that you follow your doctors orders

I use SF pudding powder,SF jello powder or SF Torani syrup in both. I prefer the pudding mix in cottage cheese. I just started using SF chocolate pudding with some Torani SF coconut syrup in my Greek yogurt(mmmm). You can also use SF preserves in either one.

I add splenda, cinnamon, and a splash of vanilla. Delicious!

I add Trader Joe's organic unsweetened applesauce with cinnamon. I actually don't even like cottage cheese, but mixed with that I actually enjoy it.

well, to be honest - I have to have it right out of the fridge and with salt ()....I'm not into sweetened cottage cheese at all!

I grew up with a grandfather that put sugar in cottage cheese, so adding splenda would be second nature....and it tastes good.

I love cottage cheese with just a little salt.

For Yogurt, I add chocolate, all sorts of sugar free Torani syrups.  Now that I am in maintenance I sometimes add fruit or granola.

Mio is also good in greek yogurt to add a fruit flavor.
