Hunger challenges

I haven't been around much since I went back to work and started going full steam ahead. Im doing well. I'm down 46 lbs since I started my prep liquid diet.but I'm struggling with feeling hungry much more and I'm trying to find ways to deal with it healthfully. My patient manual says that I should be eating around 800 cal per day. I've been struggling to do that but have had a few days in the 700 range. I'm scared of becoming a grazer and want to avoid that at all costs. I had cut my protein drinks down to 1 1/2 per day and have been getting the rest of my protein from food. I am getting 80 g of proteins in and getting all of my water in as well. But I keep finding myself hungry and I don't know how I shoultackle this. Any suggestions for beating grazing and hunger? I met with my nutritionist and she made a few suggestions (ie using protein drinks for my snacks and real food for breakfast, lunch and dinner). I did well on that yesterday but protin drinks have become my go to breakfast asi don't have time to sit down to a real meal. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Are you on a PPI (proton pump inhibitor like prilosec or nexium) - if not, try and get on that asap. Most hunger is acid related.
Ive suffered with bad acid despite the use of a PPI at the max dose - what helped me early out and now is making sure I dont go too long without eating drinking. Around 6 weeks - 4 months - I would eat dense protein meals for B, L and D and sip on protein shakes in between meals and definitely drink a lot of water. When my stomach gets empty for longer periods, the acid builds up - at first im hungry, but eventually the burning started (took a while though so i had no idea the hunger was my acid).
Now, I eat just about every two hours - seems like a bad grazing habit but since that's my plan, and i make good choices, it works for me and keeps me from burning from the inside out.

I'm at the point now too where my sleeve feels empty and I feel hungry...atleast I think I'm hungry. I'm eating about every 3 hours. I'm down to one shake most days and I'm happy about that. It's been trial and error. You will find a schedule that works for you. You're doing great! I'm back to work too...keeping busy has helped a bunch.
I also eat frequently and that's what works for me. I plan my meals and snacks in the morning and eat usually every 3 hours. Sometime I go longer if I am somewhere that I just can't whip out a snack. Having said that I plan my meals and snacks with protien in mind always. I eat a lot of string cheese and meat whether is is deli style, grilled and now I just started with beef jerky. The beef jerkey has actually been a good move for me because it is really filling. I don't use shakes anymore just because I prefer to eat rather than drink. I also plan in an iced coffee drink per day too and if I am having a really long day or working I will have a Quest bar. I am around 800 cals per day and 80 gm protein and usually always under 40 carbs. I am happy with my progress and it is working for me.
