Still stalled... Ugh. I know I'm being dramatic but dang. I don't know what to do. I just feel like a failure.

You are not a failure! These stalls happen from everything I have read. You can get through this! Stay strong and work that sleeve. Are you watching your carbs and exercising? I am cheering you on girl! Hang in there!

I Know I know I'm just so pissed! I have laid everything on the line for this... Money, relationship, my sanity. I'm just getting bored I guess. In acting like a baby but I'm ready to change my life. It's like I'm stuck here. I stayed the same weight while I was stuffing my face everyday!! Now I eat like a bird and again stuck. I know it will get better its just super frustrating!

Just by looking at the first two avatars, I thought you were talking to yourself.

I got a little scared for a minute.

Giving up is certainly an option. Easy way out. Failure is certainly one option - if you allow it to be.

It's up to you really. I don't know when you had surgery, but maybe you should give another week.
Or not.

If quiting and failure are part of your repertoire, then I guess you know best what to do.

Others will come and be your cheerleader.

I'll won't. But, I will lay out the options for you.

1. Quit. Okay now you've quit. But, quit what exactly? You still can only eat a couple of ounces of food. You need protein. You still need vitamins.
2. Keep going. But keep going at what exactly? Keep giving up? Keep getting frustrated? Keep posting that you want to give up? Or maybe your keep going with learning what you need to learn to make good food choices. Maybe you keep figuring out what your triggers are. You could look at your thought patterns and other things going on in your life that cause you to make bad food choices (if you are even making them, I dont know.). You could figure out why after a relatively short amount of time you are ready to give up (surgery date?).

Stalls are a time to remove the emotion, analyze your food intake, exercise, water intake, vitamins, etc.

If you are going to quite something. Quite looking at the scale. A lot of people just can't handle watching the scale.

Or just quit.

How long have you been stalled again? Sorry... couldn't remember exactly.

Remember, you've just had major surgery. So major that our stomachs are not fully healed for several months afterwards, even after we feel normal again.

And, I hate to break it to you, but most of us stall more than once through this process. Right now would be a great time to figure out a plan of action for dealing with that frustration, because the odds are pretty steep that you'll be needing to draw from them again at some other point in the losing phase. Not a slant against you at all... just being realistic.

As long as you are getting in all of your fluid, protein, and exercise, and not going over your carbs or calorie counts, the weight will start to come off again. It would be awful if you gave up now, considering that, for all you know, it could break tomorrow or the next day if you push just a little more.

You got this!

I guess I'm just venting. It's easy to feel sorry for myself. I know what my options are thank you. Just looking for morale support which many give. While others tough love. It all helps.

Oh, it's easy to feel frustrated and sorry for ourselves when this happens. I'm right there with ya on that one! I've been stalled for over a week now, and I'm almost 5 months out. In fact, it bothers me that I may still be stalled on my 5 month surgiversary, because that means I won't see as much loss total for the month... silly, I know, but it's how I'm wired lol.

I hope my post didn't come across as "tough love." I certainly didn't mean it that way, because IMHO that kind of thing is best served when someone has messed up, which I don't think you have at all. I was just trying to be open and honest (and I'm a little hormonal right now, so some things are just coming out uglier than I mean them to). Sorry if I offended you somehow.

Anyways, vent away and keep moving forward. I bet that stall breaks soon :)
