Hallelujah for hummus...
Tonight for dinner I had a Morningstar Farms veggie pizza burger with a tablespoon of the heavenly goodness on the side. Sooo yummy. What really makes me happy is that a tablespoon is all I need. My Costco-sized hummus just may last forever! That is, unless my kid eats it first.
I am surmising that now I crave savory foods more than ever since my VSG, and I find so much more satiety from savory foods. Perhaps this is a good thing, as I used to plow through anything sweet in no time.
Off to spreading some garlicky love to my kid...
Here is the skinny below...I added it to the Health Tracker the other day if anyone else uses it. Just type Basha hummus.

IMO, not bad if used in moderation. Not eating it by the tablespoon like I used to. Ha!
I love the alliteration............great title for your post!
Your dinner sounds YUMMMMYY I had to have something pizza-ish, so made a crustless pizza.............it would have gone well with garlicky hummus!
I crave savory foods, too. I didn't turn my nose up to a slice of chocolate cake pre-op, but I've always preferred savory stuff. I think it's a good thing, too!
Enjoy the soft food stage. I don't know what your plan tells you, but mine says I'll be in it for another 4 months at least. Plenty of time to experiment in our chem labs (aka Kitchens LOL)
Have fun

And yes, Allison, those darn veggie patties are super addictive! I add Maggi seasoning (wheat-based soy sauce) to the garden ones for an Asian kick. Yum!!
