It's not my kidneys it's like a nerve. Almost like siatica pain but it doesn't shoot down the leg. Is this due to weight loss??

A LOT of folks lose weight and their tailbones hurt like that.  Sometimes they have the tip of the tailbone removed when other options are exhausted.  I'm not sure whether to refer you to your PCP or your bariatric surgery, though.

I know I was hurting and went to my pcp and he said as we lose weight our body readjust itself and that causes the pain in our backs. Hope that helps, if not go see your pcp.

I have been having pain in my kidney area for many months now post op .. I was afraid a kidney stone was starting or something but it would come and go .. so I didnt really follow up with it.  My tailbone is hurting a lot though after sitting for a long time.  So strange lol.
