Finally Sleeved

Got my sleeve on Thursday.  I was the only one at my clinic that day the other girl that was suppose to get a sleeve didnt loose all the wieght she was suppose to and when they went to open her her liver was still to large so they sent her home.  she was very diissapointed ,  I had a   total of 4 nurses waiting on me hand qnd foot...  coming out of surgery and in the recovery room there was alot of paiin but they immedatly gave me some pain meds and I got up and walked around for  10 minutes,  had my family come and see me ,  but was alittle out of it due to anethesia,  so i sent them home.  I just wanted to rest. All the nurses we very attentive and I lacked for nothing two worked day shif and the other night shift.  my doctor hovered around for awhile alos. The only problem  i had ws trying to go pee after my surgery.  at 9 pm they finally geve me a cathitor to relieve some of the pressure then it kicked it into to gear for me to be able to go potty by meself.  I can only sleep on my back not on my side.  the incisions dont hurt at all.  its the stomach inside thqt hurts.  everttime i take a drink i burped or gurgle. also i ddnt bring my lap top or book or anything and was super bored out of my mind.so I highly suggesgt  bringing somehting with you . 
 all and all everythng has been good,  oh yeah i dd make a mistake and try to have some isopure when i came home yesterday,  even though  it tasted ok,  it was harsh on my new tummy wont try that again for a few more days because I was in some pain for a few hours adn couldnt sip on anything cause i felt swollen and full. 
My sister was super jealous cause I came home and took a walk adn can move around better than her and she had hers done last week and is still hurting.  so only goes to show you differnt people have differetn tolerances to pain and how thier body accepts the surgery. 

oh yeah since they fed my tones of fluids like 8 bags all together I gained 13 lbs. in there all the weight I lost during my pr op diet is back.  hopefully its mostly water weight and will come off quckly.

 Welcome home. I too had little pain mainly just pressure. My nurses for my entire stay were so nice. I had some messaging cuffs around my legs during the night to let me sleep. I was doing laps around the nurses station by the next day. There were 5 bariatric patients on Tuesday. I was also lucky to not have a cathitor, but the IV was making me want to pee every hour.
