NSVs and breaking a little stall

Hey everyone!!

I've been commenting more and more on MFP and less on here.

Sorry :(
Miss all you wonderful people!

So, the NSV's - I hit a mini goal which is related to weight sorta I guess lol. On the treadmill, I no longer have to go up on the preset weight when I enter in my info! Down baby down!

Also - I was at a  luncheon a week ago and I had multiple friends there. After, I asked why one of them didn't say hey to me if she was there. I found out she didn't even recognize me! How cool, right?

On breaking that mini stall - I am back to tracking ( uh, yea, imagine that working, right? ) AND since I am 4.5 months after surgery, I'm setting more rigorous water goals for myself. I have been working out 5x/week and I don't think I adjusted my water accordingly. So, what I do is I have a 32oz water bottle. I break my day down into 3 segments and have to drink 1 of those during each 4 hour segment. 8-12, 12-4 and 4-8. Then, I don't count any other fluids into that equation. So I'm sure to get 96oz of pure water throughout the day and the rest is lagniappe as we say in Louisiana :)

Registered for my 5K on October 6th. I added in another Zumba class each week also. Loving the Zumba so just making time for it. My mother-in-law came with me on Friday and she only made it through half the class. She's 59, though, but still, I hadn't realized how far I have come endurance wise.

I last the whole hour and I'm that annoying one in the back adding in the jumps when you clap and stuff. Bwahahaha.

Going to get fit for better running shoes this week. My left knee is staying too tight and making it a little painful so trying to focus on getting quality gear because I really am exercising. This is a part of my life now, you know?

Ok, sorry for the book. I guess a lot of transitioning and I know you all understand!

Wow Michelle,
I can feel your energy! What an inspiration. What is MFP?
I am 2 months out and still trying to figure out the journaling.
I'm going to try your water idea. What does a typical day of food look like for you? Would appreciate any advice.
Thanks
Terri

MFP is myfitnesspal.com  It's a food and activity journaling app you can use on your phone or computer. Very easy to use and you can even scan the barcodes of food and it'll enter the calories and nutritionals then you just adjust your portion size (if your phone is capable). I have an AT&T android type smartphone and it works great on it. I am prettyeyes41 on there if you want to add me once you sign up.
