The fricken hair loss?

I clean my brush everyday. I am taking all my vitamins, including biotin and a krill oil supplement. I really don't know how I have any hair left.

I've reduced how often I wash my hair because when I blowdry and bru****'s like clumps of hair.

I have my first blood work on Friday. Maybe I have an iron deficiency? Or my thyroid could have changed?

I am 4.5 months. Any advice or best cheap hair extensions is appreciated!!

Hmmm I finally stopped losing hair around 9 months, but the last 4-6 weeks, it's picking back up again and I'm almost bald....this sucks!!

It's par for the course - they probably wont find a direct link to any particular lab.

It was the worst for me from months 3-7. Month 5 was, by far, the absolute worse. It's normal. Nothing you can really do but keep your protein and vitamins up. I actually went through a 2nd cycle of hair loss recently, but I'm still losing so I suspect that has to do with it. It will stop... eventually. xoxo

Oh man!

This is not good news. As if there aren't enough other self image issues. I was really not wanting to cut my hair but it's looking scraggly to me. Hubby said it's not to him.

I'll have to take a pic and get some unbiased women opinions. lol

Thanks for your responses.

I'll be one year out on Thursday.  I'm like Candy.  Had hair loss, it slowed down and then I had a total knee replacement  5.5 months ago and it started right back up.  I've been taking Biotin every day for a year.  I also don't wash my hair as much for the same reasons as you.  Thank God I had thick hair to begin with, but it has gotten quite thin

I am a guy and barely have any hair.....so its not an issue for me.  However, it seems like you are just STARTING the hair loss phase.  Normally seems to go from about 3-6 months out...you got awhile to go.

Just keep getting your protein and what not and things should settle back eventually.  I guess its the price we pay?
