Hi Amy, For the first thre years I was really good with my blooodwork and my levels were great. I ended up moving and the long and the short of it I did not find a new pcp for one year. When I started there I really was feeling tired. It turns out my iron .ferratin is very low and as is my rbc and Hemocrit but reticulocytes are very high. So my doctor thinks that I may be beeding from somewhere. So I have had an endoscopy, a coloscopy, a CT with contrast both oral and IV. And has started me on IV Iron insfusions. I was taking oral iron but I am either having a probem storing or.... I will be glad to get the results of the tests. Other than that though I haven't had a problem with my sleeve in years.

I have pulled myself along this process by following those in front of me. It is wonderful to be able to look so far ahead and see success. Thanks a ton for posting.

Thank you for posting and congratulations! I am so happy for you! We really love to hear about long-term post ops who are still doing well and able to still work with their tool successfully. That is awesome. It really IS life changing. Keep posting now and then just to check in! It really motivates the new sleevers too. I remember looking for people who were 5 years post op when I was newly sleeved. THANK YOU!
