Where do you get your awesome small plates?  I've been searching everywhere and can't find any that stylish...

Is the trick to making the food look so good in a photo back lighting it? Seems that you light your food from the rear and above. Am I mistaken?

I'm having grilled pork loin with a wet Columbian rub tonight. So looking forward to trying some new spice tonight! Haven't gone shopping for veggie, but now I'm thinking that aspargus looks awfully tasty and that can be grilled, too!

Not mistaken....... Backlit is how that was shot...... but not always or with that light source..... can be done many ways depending on what your going for...... could be one light source or multiple......

That's about $10k worth of equipment to shoot my One Dollar lunch.......

Thanks for the info! Glad my "eye" was telling me the truth. You pros make it look so beautiful. I took a pic of my food once and it was so pretty on the plate and it looked like total crap in the pic. That was the end of that for me! I'll stick to grooming my terriers for artistic release!

As always your meal looks DELISH!!

Since it is just me, I dont cook much. I love grilled meat but I'm not going to fire up the outdoor grill for 1 steak.

So is Yojiru****he name brand? I googled it but nothing came up. I really, really want one!!
