Just wonder how my fellow June Sleevers are doing.  Many of you know I'm a teacher and going back to work has really kicked my butt!  I am not getting in all my protein or water each day, but I'm not really hungry and I am still losing.  I've lost about 55 lbs. now and feel good about that.  Exercise is not a priority to me, even though I know it should be so I will probably have a lot of loose skin when I hit goal.  But, all in all, I'm feeling good and looking better.  How about you?

God will turn our weakness into strength.

I'm also a June 12th sleever! I've only lost 30 lbs since surgery but am a lightweight and currently at 170lbs and had lost 36 before surgery. These last 20 lbs are going to be harder to lose since it's my spare tire but I've lost all the weight I can everywhere else. My husband and I walk every night and I'm now adding some crunches to my exercising to help get this gone. I'm able to get all my protein in, 70-80gms a day now and keeping around 700 cal a day. It's hard but doable. I plan each meal for the next day the night before. Trying to up my liquids more, currently just able to get in around 60-70oz but working on more. I have some droopy skin on my upper arms and a rear-end that is sagging down my thighs but working on that by walking every night. I feel great and have more energy than I have had in 20 years. I'm happier than I've been in years and my husband has been acting like we're on a long term second honeymoon - LOL!  Wouldn't change a thing and would do it all over in a minute!!

I was June 25th. Saw my doc for my 3 month appoinment and am down 61 lbs. I feel great, lowest I have weighed in years. I workout daily and feel that has allowed me to lose slow and steady. I measure 2 a month and if I am not loosing I am loosing inches. I am sticking to the plan and get about 80 plus oz of water aday, cook most meals and get about 80 grams of protein a day, usually with one shake. Best thing I ever did for myself, my family is noticing big changes both body and mind. Feel great!!

June 6th here! I'm down a little over 50 pounds since the morning of surgery. I'm doing zumba 3x a week, Pump 3x a week, and taking one active rest day (meaning I take a lot of walks, but nothing strenuous). I can squeeze into a 10, but I'm pretty comfortable in a 12 right now. I think it's going great. I wanted to lose faster, I had dreams of waking up at my goal weight the morning after surgery- but I guess I'm coming to terms with the fact that it's not gonna happen. I have lost nearly 58% of my excess weight already and have a week till I hit 4 months, so I guess that's ok!

Hope everyone is doing good! Seems like we were just having this done :)

Revised from band to sleeve on June 6th, 2012. Lost 48 pounds on my own in the 4 months prior to revision.

Hey, June 12th here too! I was down 60 pounds before my TOM started this week, so I won't jump on the scale again for a few more days. Things are going well. I have noticed that I can sip water much, much faster than before, so I am back up to 70-80 oz. of water per day (one of the few good habits I had before the surgery). I am tracking my food choices on MFP daily and the nutritionist advised me on my last visit that I need to try and consume around 1,000 per day. I also incorporate at least one protein shake per day to make sure I'm hitting my protein range. I work in a school too so I move around quite a bit during the day, but I am becoming more aware of the need for weight training (I swear I see more dimpling and loose skin than before). Although I go to the gym on my own a few days per week (in a good week), I plan to incorporate personal training soon. This journey has been amazing. It seems like the surgery was just yesterday. Sometimes I am the last person to notice all of the changes that have taken place. People who know about my surgery always comment on how good I look, but I'm still focused on the progress I need to make. I guess that's the key to progress - never letting yourself rest on your laurels. I am looking forward to the future of losing more weight and gaining my new self!

I've lost 46 pounds since surgery.  Not as fast as most of you sadly, but I have PCOS and hypothyroidism.

I exercise 5 days a week for an hour.  Mostly water aerobics, treadmill, or recumbent bike.  I do love my new muscles!
