Thanks to hubby for some perspective
I have one of those good eggs, too, and it's so very helpful when he puts things into perspective!
Our son is a BIG boy (4 but looks to be 7-8) and I tried to carry him into the house the other day after he fell asleep in the car. He weighs about 70-75 pounds and I couldn't believe how hard it was....my husband said, "And just think, you've lost almost twice him!" This was on a day I thought I've been doing horribly, etc. It was so nice to have him break it down for me :)

Yahoo for supportive partners. My hubby was shocked when I lost the first 50lbs and he realised it was the equivalent of the backpack that he carried on his military march. When I lost 100lbs he had a hard time wrapping his mind around the fact that I carried that around with me all day every day. 2x the weight of his backpack. He then realised that all those times I was following him about with tired legs or winded after a flight of stairs that I was carrying around 2 backpacks of weight. He is so proud now and super happy going to the gym with me on his off days.
