What do you do to keep motivated throughout the day?

I keep an old pic of me on my iPhone background to remind me that I never want to be that guy again!!!! I see it multiple times a day!!!!

Its the pic on the left, the one on the right I have set to my lock screen as a reminder of how far I have come... i update that one weekly...

Who keeps a pic of themselves on their phone background? LOL -- I DO !!!!

At one point, I put my "before" pic as wallpaper on my iPhone because Ryan said he did. It helped remind me for a while but then I changed it.
What do I do to keep me motivated??? I literally get rid of all my bigger clothes as soon as I get into the next size down which means all my size 10 pants are gone, some size medium t-shirts are gone... I still have some size medium dresses because they are stretchy & I can wear them longer. Because now, if my weight flucuates as much as 5 pounds (& yes it's happened a few times), I am slightly uncomfortable in my size 8 pants). It's helping me "keep it real".
I am not at my final goal yet so I just need to keep focused somehow so this is how I do it.

Well since my surgery was not covered by insurance, my family helped and paid for me to get it done. So my motivation is to not let them down and that they didnt waste $15,000+ for nothing. I think about it everyday and when I'm exercising or thinking about making bad food choices.

You guys motivate me every day.  I love reading the newbie stories, the energy is contagious.  I also love the way I look in my skinny girl jeans.  If I lose focus, I just put them on, look in the mirror and smile.  The rest clicks right in.

I am just so much happier now that staying motivated hasn't been hard. I'm only six weeks out, so I know there may be harder times to come but staying positive and focused on feeling healthier has been very good for me.

I have a few things that motivate me.

1. I do my best to maintain a 2 pound weight range. I weigh every morning and eat accordingly.

2. Size 6 jeans.  2.5 years ago I was wearing 22/24 and wearing out the thighs.

3. Long uphill hikes in the Redwoods. I feel great being 61 and hiking 30-40 miles a week.  I don't ever want to give up how terrific I feel.

4. All of the awesome people that I have met both here online and in real life.  Everyone keeps me honest.
