OT: A little scared...

So I have been dealing with cancer for a while, and it has been well controlled albeit persistent. Last night I found out I have a tumor where the wisdom teeth use to be in the lower jaw, and a shadow on the jaw bone- indicative of bone cancer. This sucks. Of course, now I have to go in and deal with my asshole of a boss to arrange time off for a bone biopsy, not to mention that if this goes into jaw surgery that is about as disruptive to a teacher's classroom as I can imagine. On the wls side of things, I am also beginning to worry a bit about losing too much- not that I am even close to that at the moment, but the meds and procedures do have an impact. Mostly I am just pissed that I am sitting here fretting about my asshole boss though an trying to figure out as quickly as possible how to brace my classroom for this. Ugh.

PLEASE Breath !!!! Sit down and relax. Don't jump to conclusions until you have a valid reason for it. I know the fear of cancer returning because my Mom lived with it daily. Hopefully the shadow on the jaw is NOT cancer. And maybe your boss will be understanding about it. If not...that is THEIR problem. You have NO control over your health and what happens to your body....if you were I'm SURE you would not have any of this happen. I'm going to start praying that you will not have cancer again and that your boss will be extremely understanding about the situation that you are in. Health issues alone are stressful enough without having to deal with other issues. As far as losing too much weight...don't worry about that unless it happens. If it does...just add in more meals and calories till your weight stabilizes. Praying for peace in your life right now and healing in your body. Have a great day.

Don't waste your time on an asshole. Tell him and dont worry how he takes it...you have much bigger fish to fry right now girl! Worring about your class just means you care. I wish you the best of luck with all you may face.

Sorry I didnt know you had cancer. I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers that everything goes smoothly for you. Sucks to have an asshole boss for sure. I know, I remember my worst boss so vividly. Take care of yourself and however your boss deals with this, try to remember that is his problem for being an ass. Take things as they come, day by day. Keep us posted on your bone biopsy.

I think vivian got a hold of my asshole boss, as he took it pretty well all things considered. Biopsy is tomorrow and looking forward to putting this behind me. Feeling much better today too- sorry about the vent, I just totally wasn't expecting this.
