Weigh in tomorrow...

I weigh in every tuesday-

I have been on a small stall, loosing 1 pound a week for a few weeks now. I weighed in at 300 exactly last week...

I have busted my butt even harder for two weeks not trying to crack this stall and tomorrow I step on the scale again... wish me luck!

 

I currently weigh in every week, I am thinking of changing that to every two or even once a month... what are your thoughts....?

100 LBS gone in 3 Months! - 150 LBS gone in just over 5 Months! 

200 LBS gone in just under 9 Months!

I usually weigh in about every 2 weeks and have gone as long as a month or so.  I like having a longer period of time in between weigh in's.  Water weight can fluctuate a lot and so can BM's, so a week just isn't long enough for me.  However, with that said, as I keep on plan until goal, I know I will have to tweak some things, which is making me think I should weigh in more often, but no more than once a week.  I think I will try and stick with every 2 weeks until I hit a bigger stall.

Mathematically, the more I think about it, as we lose weight, our bodies even at rest burn less calories, so unless we up our calorie burning, we need to adjust our calories down.  So as I get smaller, it will probably mean me eating less calories to keep losing at the same pace, of about 2 pounds per week.  In fact, 2 weigh ins ago, I only lost 3 pounds in three weeks, so I think I have already started to slow down a bit.  So I have been tweaking calorie intake a bit and cutting out some of those sneaky carbs.  

With that said, I would go with every 2 weeks.  So that is what I will do too.  :O)

my three week stall sucked, but I started to eat a little bit more and do a little more and BAM....I started loosing again.  I think you should weigh in every 2 weeks, in my humble opinion.

Good Luck tomorrow !!!    I weigh in once a week also, but I am only 5 weeks out.. I think you should continue to weigh weekly if that is what you feel like you should do.. but you are alot further out then me.. Remember the number on the scale isn't everything.. You have your measurements also to go by and also how you are feeling overall.. just my opinion.. don't let the scale derail you..

I weigh every day. I cant help it. That being said if I go up 1 or 2 lbs it doesnt discourage me. I know that I eat on plan and the weight gains are really weight gains. This keeps me motivated. To each their own though. Good luck on the weigh in today! No matter what it say--you are successful!

Do what works for you. If weighing weekly is messing with your head, do it monthly or quarterly or whatever works. I know people that ONLY weigh when they visit their doctor.

I'm a daily scale person. The number doesn't bother me, I know it goes up and down and whatever, but I need that daily morning ritual as a reminder of what I've done and what my plan of the day is.
