Hi there, I am curious to how much I should weigh to wear a size 10 or 12.  I am 5'5.  I know designers vary in sizes but generally speaking what weight would it take.  I am currently 227.  I may be feeling overly anxious but I feel like I will never get there.

It's hard to say because it depends on your body type. Apple shape vs. pear shape will make a difference. Also, sizes vary by brand. However, I found online it said size 10 pants fit waists of 28 inches and hips of 38.5 inches. Size 12 pants fit waists of 29.5 inches and hips of 40 inches. So time for the measuring tape.
