Down 20lbs in a week!

I need to share this because I'm so excited right now! I'm exactly one week out from surgery today- surgery was the 14th. I ordered a new scale from Amazon because my old scale is pretty funky and plus I don't fit on it still (only goes up to 330. I haven't been able to use it in a few years) so I didn't want to wait for my 2 week check up so I ordered a new one. I got the scale in the mail today yay! So I get on and look down and OMG I've lost 20lbs from last week!! I got on and off about 5 times to make sure it was right!! 339! I was 359 right before surgery. I had lost 20lbs pre op so down 40 all together. But 20lbs in a week??!! OMG! I cried lol. I haven't seen a number in the 330's since 2008 and all I've tried to do for the last 4 years is get back to the 330's but all I managed to do was GAIN!

I started this year 380lbs+. I don't know my true highest weight but I was definitely pushing 400. To think I'm closer now to the 300's then the 400's makes me cry. This was emotional but amazing for me today because I was starting to feel sorry for myself not being able to eat on Thanksgiving. I just needed to share! This Thanksgiving I don't need food- I'm thankful for my sleeve! :D

That is just AWESOME!! You're on the right track and sounds like your head is in the right place too. Enjoy the feeling - it is much more gratifying than food!!

GREAT FOR YOU, BUT REMEMBER EVERY SCALE IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT, SO DON'T BE SHOCKED IF DOCTORS SCALE IS HIGHER OR LOWER, ASLO BEST TO WEIGH YOURSELF NUDE SO DIFFERENT CLOTHS DON'T WEIGH DIFFERENTLY

So happy for you. Enjoy this time. While that sleeve is swollen you will eat like a newborn and the weight will melt away. Take it easy and enjoy this awesome journey. Hugs, Sharon
