NSV........But I Still Can't Believe It!

Good Sunday Morning OH Family and Friends!

What a beautiful day here -- loads of sunshine and temps to reach the mid 60s!  Great football weather -- GO BEARS!  But I wonder why it is that it's December and every time I have ever been invited to a football game in December at Soldier Field, it was bitter cold and/or snowing and today is just delightful?  No matter............luvin' this stuff!

Okay, so on to the NSV -- actually two of them, but the first is not quite here yet!  I checked and found that I am 6 pounds away from being just "obese" instead of my current "extremely obese" or the "super obese" which is where I started.  The whole concept of being non-modified obese makes me feel wonderful!  I am a numbers person and seeing PROOF that I'm making progress on the charts reinforces my determination to stay on plan.

Now for the true NSV!  I'm doing a lot of shopping in my closets lately and with the Holidays coming, I dug out my Holiday sweaters and sweatshirts.  None of them fit -- all too big!  But I found a green sweater that I have never worn (tags still on) and I KNOW I never bought it for myself and people don't buy clothes for me because I've always been so hard to fit.  Anyway, I held up the sweater and thought "NO FREAKIN' WAY am I gonna fit into this!"  I was wearing 3X (sometimes 4X depending on how loose I wanted a sweater to be).  This sweater is a 1X and I don't wear that yet.  Except.............now I do!!!  It fit me perfectly.  I have no idea where this sweater came from because we don't have the store it was purchased at anywhere within my state let alone in a city where I would drive to.

The other day, I mentioned that there are daily miracles that we don't often recognize because we are too busy or too pre-occupied with our lives.  I think I just had one of those miracles -- or the "sweater fairies" visited me while I wasn't looking and put that sweater there for me to find!  

Now I'm off to my overlock machine to take in some of my favorite Holiday tops so I have festive clothes to wear!  I'm a happy camper!!!

I hope your favorite football teams win their games today...........unless they happen to be playing against the Bears!  LOL

Fabulous News!!!!  What a wonderful NSV and it couldn't have happened to a more deserving person!!!  Let's face it...you're smaller!!!  And, you're not done yet!!!

I'd like to post pix but every time I try, nothing shows up.  I've search here for directions and have tried the steps -- no pix.   Maybe senior citizens just aren't supposed to post them LOL
