Month 5 for me!

I had my surgery August 6th 2012. I'm 5 months out and love my new life and changing body. I think the best thing so far about this whole process now is that I don't constantly think about being fat. Everything reminded me that I was morbidly obese. Now I can really enjoy events and conversation without being preoccupied with my weight. It is a very liberating thing! I'm down 71 pounds from my highest weight and plan on losing much more. I won't lie, I don't work out like I should. The hubby is going to go through the process towards getting VSG in July. I think once he gets on bandwagon it will be easier for me. Very happy! Go sleevers!!!!!!!

Congrats to you Julie, I also had surgery on August 6th 2012, I am down 91 pds and feel better than I have in years! I would recommend this surgery to anyone! Only regret I have is waiting so long to have it done! It truly was the best decision ever besides having my boys of course! :) My family cannot believe the results and the difference in my energy level, my personality, my socialism, my overall health is so much better.....loving life  now and loving my sleeve! Keep rocking that sleeve girl....:)
