get use to it you are losing all your insolation  , put a warm sweater on , long johns, warm socks(I like alpaca socks)

get a warm blanket to sleep with and a throw to use when sitting in a chair

Costco sells a great heater ,looks like a satellite dish and makes you feel like a roast chicken

I enjoyed it because I was ALWAYS hot before.  Low blood pressure is pretty common with us, so that may have something to do with it.

I moved to CA from Minnesota 14 years ago. I was always the warmest one, rarely needed a jacket in Northern CA and thought it ridiculous that people here where UGGS sheepskinned lined boots......
Well, at 3 months post op and down 45 pounds, I now own and wear two pair of UGGS! A lesson in come upance I suspect
I have considered wearing gloves to bed a few nights as we do not have central heat and the portable heater only does so much.
I do enjoy that I can work out and keep a jacket on outside though...novel experience to not be so hot and uncomfortable.
Lots of warm tea, coffee, protein hot cocoa, and may I suggest a pair of UGGS?
Take care!

We were also told that because of the rapid weight loss, your body had trouble regulating temperature.  My husband is cold ALL THE TIME!  We bought an electric blanket about a month ago.  With a controller on both sides, thank goodness!  Just bundle up, that's all I can say!

Hugs,

Kelly

Me too!  I sleep with a fan 365 days a year (mainly for noise) and I have had to turn it off and put extra clothes on in bed!  It is funny because I was always hot and would tell the kids to just go put extra clothes on.  Now they tell me that with a smile!!!!!

I was that way for the first 3-4 months after surgery but now I think my body has figured out how to regulate it's smaller self and I don't have that problem. I wrapped up in a blanket in the evening and put on an extra pair of footies when I took my shoes off. Really helped alot.

I'm three months out and I freeze all the time. Seems like I have the shivers - even with extra blankets and clothes, I feel cold. I really don't like this result of losing weight.
