OK everyone! It is official. My sleeve's name is Bob. We need an official naming ceremony or a separate thread for this?

My husband named his Stevie ( as in stevie the sleevie... lol)... so I joked that mine is Sleevina/slyvena (not sure how to spell it, ive never written it b4!) I thought it was kind of odd at first, hence my joke name... but they do have their own personalities... so it just works...

Hah!  I named mine Steve.  Steve the Sleeve.  My husband thinks it's funny.  "Hey babe, should we try this new recipe?"  "I gotta run it by Steve."  "You going to finish your plate?"  "Steve's not into it."

I refer to mine as 'Gollum' from The Lord of the Rings character that made those weird noises. My Gollum talks to me and everyone around me sometimes and just makes us all laugh! But the name reference is only known by a very few people and never spoken in public or around anyone who would want to know what we were talking about.

My sleeve has ended up with a couple of names.  The first one, I actually can't remember quite what it is, but it was something like FiFi because it was picky and I was having to treat it like a spoiled princess.  More recently, I laughed at myself and started calling it Steve, because I realized I had a date with it (surgery date), and then made a permanent lifelong commitment.  xD  I'm so weird.

I do name things all the time.  I had a humongous para-ovarian cyst removed at the same time as my VSG, which had been with me for a long time.  I called it the alien baby.
