You may find the same thing I did: no nice cuppa equals increased hunger and desire for crap food. You can't win for losing...

Wait!  I'm sooo confused!  Am I supposed to give up coffee or masturbation?  Surely not both?  Or just not both on the same day because that's too much stress on my adrenals with all that stimulation? Or are moderate amounts of both OK?

Too bad my support group got canceled tonight, I could have asked the nurse who runs it!  LOL -- I'm pretty sure she hasn't had that question before!

I guess it depends on how good you are at multitasking.

LOL!  I'll never hear the word multitasking again without thinking of this!

Hmmm,  I guess I just need more practice!

Coffee saved my husband's life.  He had an undiagnosed condition where he has massive, massive, massive amounts of iron in his body, killing off all of his organs.  Coffee totally stops iron from being absorbed.  He drinks 4 cups a day.  It saved his life, and he didn't even know it!  Thank You God for coffee!

Everything I drink is decaf but my coffee. I have one cup a day and sometimes not even the whole cup because I hadn't figured out a way to make it taste like it used to. With protein powder, without,  with cream,  without, with splenda, without, with sugar free creamer/syrups, without or a combination of all above. I miss my coffee. I don't know why I am used to splenda in my tea and drink it no problem but man the coffee SUCKS!

It gets better. I promise. It can take several weeks, and sometimes a few months for foods to taste the way they did before.

Thanks. I have never "enjoyed" sugar substitute but I can drink it in tea and it doesn't bother me but in coffee it just doesn't do it for me. Some days, I have a spoon of sugar and work into my plan when I can't take it anymore. I normally make my meal plan every day when I am having my coffee so if I have the sugar, I allow it for my calorie intake. Most times I don't because I don't like the 100 calories for one drink thing.

100 calories? What all do you put in your coffee? I use either milk or 6% cream (about 20-30 calories) and sugar twin. 70 calories worth of sugar is just shy of 5 teaspoons...

(I can't spare that many calories either. Sadness...)
