Prom Dress NSV and much more!
Ok so it's not my prom dress it was a dress I was forced to buy for the last military ball I attended. I have managed to wiggle out of them for several years THANK GOODNESS!
Anyway my point is I just posted my 3XL ball dress online to sell and dropped off my size 14 dress with the alterations lady!! And it isn't a 14W dress just a plain old 14!
Granted I would have loved for it to be a smaller number but for the first time in a very long time I no longer have to shop in the plus sizes and I have a huge selection for reasonable prices!
Yesterday I was forced to buy blue jeans so that I could go camping at Bristol for the Nascar race. My yoga pants just were not going to cut it in the cold nights and possibly rainy weather. I made myself go to Walmart for them because I dont want to buy nice jeans that wont fit in a month or so (fingers crossed). Anyway I tried on all these size 12P jeans for ladies and they were all too big through the legs and but but basically fit in the waist. Plus they all came up really high on my waist which is not comfortable when you are camping and having to bend and sit all the time. So I finally noticed they had some Juniors jeans that came in petites. I wound up with some Juniors 15P jeans that fit like I wanted. I could have gotten the 13P but camping is about comfort not my pride or the number on my tag! LOL
DH teased me the whole way home about shopping like a teenager again! I let him live because... oh heck I will admit it I was grinning too big to even run my mouth.
