I'm having a bit of a problem.

As of the last few days, I don't feel satisfied when I eat. I eat slowly, but it just doesn't feel like I'm getting enough. I don't want to stretch my sleeve! I've been trying to undereat it, but I end up hungry an hour or so later. I've made sure to take drinks and hold off just to make sure it's not thirst. I also make sure that my meals are dense proteins. It could be because I'm doing more walking and hardcore house work...or the hormone changes that we women LOVE. *Can you sense the sarcasm?*

I'm trying not to screw this up for myself, but it's getting to the point where I want to snack more. (That was my biggest downfall prior to surgery.) Any advice?

That describes me and my acid...i eat, then get hungry very quickly, I can eat, eat, eat, never get "full" but easily overeat and get  foamies. Try tums or pepcid/zantac and see if anything changes. If not on a PPI, consider it.

Thanks. I will definitely try it. I haven't been on a PPI since my post op visit. He said I didn't need it since I wasn't having a reflux problem.

You are 3 months out now. That is about the same time I noticed an increase in capacity. I upped my dense protein by a half ounce at each meal and added a couple of bites of veggies, too, and that did the trick. I eventually upped my protein to 3 oz per meal and that's where it's held. At 3 oz I can eat veggies and get more of a balanced meal instead of all protein all the time.
The acid thing could be very real, but give upping your dense protein a try. That really might be the issue. We do have to eat, after all!

I never tried to undereat my sleeve and I got to a normal BMI in 6.5 months and my lowest weight at 10.5 months. I'm 4.5 years out and have maintained just fine since then.

You need to try different things and do what works FOR YOU not what works for other people.
