Speaking of plastics, what about the boobage?
Ok, I'm still a way's off from having any kind of nips and tucks, but I am looking into it and saving for it now. I don't think my insurance (Tricare) will cover anything. I KNOW I'm going to need some boob work done. Before weight loss, I was a 42 DD. Not HUGE, but big. Now, I have the sagging skin that pinches and wrinkles and they're starting to flatten out a bit. Poor things stare at the floor! lol
So, my question is this: When interviewing surgeons, is it improper etiquette (for lack of a better term) to ask to see their handy work? I'd have a hard time just going off of a doctor's word for some reason. I don't want to end up looking like a cross eyed torso.
Most plastic surgeons have before/after photos on their website.

Surgeons should be happy to show their work - really, that's a MAJOR factor when looking into PS. It's all about the end result lol. If pics aren't readily available on their website or a simple request - Id be concerned.

You not only should, but you actually must look at their work. You will see a huge difference from one surgeon to another. Look at many photos and look for shape, placement, cleavage, scar placement and so much more. Their esthetic sense and yours should be the same. Do not be embarrassed, be very active in your search and look with a critical eye that only develops after looking at many of the photos. Go to realself.com and look around on line first to see what you might like or dislike.
Have to share this about my boobs or lack of. I am 66 years old and I have never had boobs. I wear a 40b now that I lost 50 lbs and talking a about pointing to the floor ha. When I weighed 140, in my youth, I was a 34b. So here is the picture: most of my family is at a restaurant and my sweet DIL is sitting across from me. I said to the group, I'm getting a boob job when I lose another 50 lbs. My DIL's face of disbelief and she said you would't do that would you and I said why not? I have 3 sons and 2were there. One says oh I don't want to hear about this, but I find out the next day he called his other brother and told him so it spread all thru the family.
The youngest son who is somewhat a comedian said, your not going to show them off to everyone like women do after that. If so I'm not looking. Did I say I'm getting a D cup? To have boobs for the first time would be awesome for me.
