I have read about the DS, however I'm not interested in going that route and I feel pretty comfortable with the options that my PCP recommends (RNY or VSG). And after poking around a bit I feel even more sure about my choice in VSG.
As long as you've done your research---real research, not just "my doctor says" stuff---then I'm happy for you and your decision to seek WLS. I just hate seeing people come back in a few months or years and say "I never knew that..."
