3 Year Surgiversary
April 20th was my three year surgiversary! I wanted to have my check up with my surgeon to have blood work results. I knew prior to going to my appointment that I had been slacking on my protein. I can pretty much eat whatever I want in moderation, and had been straying from the path a little. I live life to the fullest and if I want something (chocolate, wine, cake, etc..) then I have it, again in moderation. I haven't had any medical issues with my sleeve and it has done a great job for me. I would do it again in a second and I have had no less than 10 friends that have had this surgery since I did. If I can inspire one person, I will try to do that. I'm very open and will talk about anything. Blood work, then pictures. I had gained 5 lbs. since last year, but I just started my period today and I can go up and down 5 lbs. in one day, so no big deal. My protein is a little low (which I knew) should be at least 6.5 and I'm at 6.0. Surgeon said to drink shake once a day. My biggest concern is my low iron level. It should be at least 37 and I'm at 27. I'm adding an iron supplement and will follow up with my regular doctor. Surgeon wasn't too concerned. Other than that, I'm doing great. Now before and after pictures. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.
BTW - I haven't had any plastics done!

You survived what you thought would kill you. Now straighten your crown and go forward like the Queen you are!
Thanks everyone! The first year and a half, I balance cardio with weights as part of my daily exercise. Today, I do Zumba 3 times a week (just came from there) and weights occasionally. Just started back up to get ready for tank top season and damn'd if it isn't snowing tonight in Kansas. Stupid Weather!!
