Just so you know: I know you probably still consider yourself a newbie, but you should know that your success and (more importantly) your attitude and committment with this whole process is so inspiring to me. I am scheduled for my first eval on 8/15, and your posts really keep me focused to keep moving forward.
Thanks for sharing your success!

Hi,
I had my surgery at the Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts with a Dr. Nepamneshy (sp?). I was very pleased with my surgeon and the hospital, and I love my team. When I went in for my first appointment, my NP said to me. "You'll never be alone in this again, because you have a team behind you now." It brought me to tears. I always joke that I have a "Heather" in my head now. Heather is my nutritionist and I imagine what she would say to all my diet decisions.
Are you planning on going to Mexico for your surgery? I hope you find a good clinic and a supportive team, and have great success. You deserve it!
