Yup, I'm not a bath person but took some espom salt baths a couple of months ago and it was totally easy and different, for sure. What was super funny was watching all my tummy and thigh skin float around. LOL. Totally freaking weird, but hey... I'll take that over the alternative!

I stopped taking baths years ago. I just was too wide to fit comfortably in the tub and I have not had a deep tub so it got to the point that I could not get covered with the warm water. It was just a big why bother - especially the getting out part.

I've had a few baths since I lost weight, but I just don't enjoy them anymore the way I did when I was young. Don't know if it was being obese or if I have just learned to enjoy a hot, hot and steamy shower more than a bath.

I love a bath! It's so much nicer now that I'm thin. I too have an extra deep tub, which I prefer,  fat or not. And the Japanese bath houses! Had a great time visiting many of them when I was less than 10 lbs to goal. Japan is a lot more fun at a normal BMI!

Before WLS, even with the extra deep tub, I had to use the washcloth trick to cover some skin unless I covered the overflow valve. Now I float like an otter in the ocean in that baby!

Oh yes, I don't have a bath tub in my present bathroom (in my bedroom) but would try to use the bathtub in the hallway bath.  I honestly filled the tub with my body and there was little room for water! So I chalked it up to a "very small bath tub".  Now I am moving in two weeks and am so happy that my new bedroom bath has a bathtub.  Cannot wait to take a nice bath. I have done so in my hallway bathroom at this house, one problem, my boney butt hurts if I sit in it too long ! Good problem.

Thanks Frisco for pointing out this "benefit".  I need to make a list of the benefits and blessings of not being morbidly obese. I always stop and tell myself "remember how this feels" so that I can try my hardest to not go back to where I was!

I don't have an extra deep tub so taking a bath is something I am looking forward to.   Going to stock up on bubble bath!

love this. reminds me of some years ago we were at a park with a river with lots of little waterfalls and interesting rock formations and pools. i decided to sit in the waterfall. i did so and basicly completely shut off the waterfall with my fat a$$!  Well hubby and I laughed about it as did another man who saw me do it. Hubby still reminds me that i once stopped a mighty river with my behind. it was funny but i am glad i am no longer a human dam.  D

I have not had a bath in about four years. I truly miss it. Having a messed up back, two messed up knees and being obese is the reason. Another 50 pounds and I am going to try the bath. I am so looking forward to it. Right now I could not get up out of the tub without help because my knees hurt too bad to put any weight on...at least my weight anyway.

Right now there would be no point in a bath. My body would fill the tub more than the water. It would hardly cover me for a soak so pointless. I cannot wait till I am able to soak.

We all have so mu*****ommon here.
