I also worried about special occasions and parties...
But so far so good...had a BBQ last nite grabbed a chicken thigh and removed the skin and a rib ate 1/2 of the thigh and 1/2 the rib..did eat the top off a cornbread muffin LOL..to tasty to resist!

It was my anniversary too yesterday! Congrats!! You give me hope that future anniversary dinners will be much more pleasant than the one I had yesterday, still being on liquids. French onion soup broth while my husband ate lobster was not easy. Congratulations on all of your accomplishments, and it helps to remember I need to keep my eye on the prize.

Happy Anniversary! This year (12/29) my husband and I will celebrate our 29th anniversary. I hope ours is as lovely as what you described yours as being. Emphasis on the moment and the two of you. May the love birds continue nesting IN LOVE for another 29. Congratulations. I bet you were radiant.

TOTAL POUNDS LOST- 200 (110 pounds lost before surgery, 90 pounds lost Post Op.diabetes in remission-blood pressure normal-cholesterol and triglyceride levels normal! BMI from 55.6 supermorbidly obese to 23.6 normal!!!!
