Date night pic and my husband
First, here's a picture of my husband and me before heading out on a date last night (courtesy my awesome neighbor who stepped in with a sleepover offer when my babysitter bailed at the last minute).
Second, I texted the pic to my sister (because it is rare that there is a picture of both me AND my husband and I've put on makeup/fixed my hair first), and she texted back "What does Andy think of his new wife?"
When I told him that, he said, "I don't really think you're any different, except that you can buy boots now."
LOL!
I don't know if he's afraid to admit that I was fat before, if he actually preferred the fat and so doesn't want to mention it now, if he likes me skinny but doesn't like the extra skin, or if he really doesn't think there's much difference, but bless him for saying that, I guess. Maybe he's just trying to walk that fine line that all husbands must walk between being honest and avoiding an angry wife. :)
At any rate, we had a great evening out, I found a coat (which I needed as it's getting colder), and my kids enjoyed their sleepover. I woke up to a .8 loss, which means I have a BMI of 25 and will be a "normal" 24.9 when I lose .2 more lbs. WooHOO!
You look great, Sarah. You are an inspiration. Great job working that sleeve.
best wishes,
Carol

You look fabulous! And yeah, I will put my money on your hubby walking the fine line as you say. Mine hasn't said a peep either. He knows he is doomed if he says I look great now because I will kill him and he is also doomed if he says he preferred me fat coz I will kill him twice then. So smart as he is he is keeping quiet and only nods approvingly at the ever expanding wardrobe!
Looks right !
