Wow! I really like the 10 month spread view...very inspiring. You have had an amazing transformation.

I think the last pic looks great because your body has come back into proportion. I am almost 6 months out and find my upper body looks great but of course doesn't match my midsection so I look disproportionate.

Your body matches up nicely now! :-)

You are AWESOME! I think you look GREAT in both photos you were asking about. I think you might look different in the 9 month photo because of the angle? I think you look good in both. AWESOME.

I love how you took a pic every month good idea, I have now gone bac  lok at my journey, i did not do it like that but I went back to redo the month bymonth. So I am at month almost 5 and noted 25 # at 1 month 15# at 2 months 8# at month 3 and month 4 6# and yes i did have a very very stressful month in oct son went into rehab! terrifing so i think my body mind spirit went dead! but anyway you see the wt lss is slowing way way down and I am scared! I started a aqua aerobics class last week. So what do you eat everyday please share i have been eating a bean soup everyday with corn in it? Keith said corn was not the best idea and yougurt plain with a little honey. I need to know how you kept that wt loss numbers going strong? thanks your story and the way you cataloged it is awesome!

My plan calls for 600-800 calories/day, 80-110g protein, no more than 40g carbs.

I typically ate 650 calories a day, 85-90g protein (more on days I worked out), and tried to stay around 20g carbs.

Here's a sample "menu" for me in weight loss:

Breakfast:  2 oz Iserno's chicken breakfast sausage and 1/4c eggbeaters.

Snack:  1 shot espresso (not until I was around 6 months out--I didn't do caffeine at all for a long while) with a premier protein shake.

Lunch:  1 pouch of tuna (2.? oz??) mixed with either plain fat-free greek yogurt or, if I was feeling indulgent, light mayo.  I'd put seasonings in it to suit my mood, or sometimes salsa.  Another typical lunch would be leftovers from the night before, or 4 slices of nitrate-free lunch meat with 1 stick of string cheese.  I divide the string cheese in two and wrap 2 slices of meat around each half and eat it rolled up.

snack:  cucumber slices soaked in rice wine vinegar, or some other non-starchy vegetable and a dip made from plain fat-free greek yogurt and salsa and cumin (or whatever other seasonings I wanted)

dinner:  some form of lean meat, maybe a it of vegetable.

snack:  depending on my nutritional stats, how many calories were left, and how much protein I needed, I might have another shake or a mozzerella baby bell and some cherry tomatoes, or some beef jerky, or some nuts.

I sometimes eat the Danon Light & Fit Greek yogurts.  Sometimes I have the coffee/protein shake with a flavored torani syrup.  Sometimes I do that for breakfast and eat a greek yogurt for a snack later.

I need to eat more vegetables.  I'm working on it.

I am pretty much constantly (when I'm not eating) drinking diluted crystal lite or water.

In addition to premier protein shakes, I sometimes use amplified wheybolic extreme from GNC.  I mix it with unsweetened almond milk.

Exercise has also been really important to me.  Please know that I had 6 months post-op when I was not working and my kids were in school (at least a couple mornings a week).  Not everyone is so lucky.  But I was able to do some form of exercise pretty much 6 days/week for 6 months.  I started out using the elliptical at they gym.  Then I started doing classes--spinning, TRX, different forms of aerobics.  Then I signed up for a 5K so did a couch to 5 K program.  Now I'm back at work and can't go as often, but I really try to make a class 3 times a week and I coach my daughter's soccer team and generally try to be active.
