3 Months Post Op!!!

So I am a little over 3 months post op and having a great experience, no complications or issues.  In 3 months, I have lost a total of 71 lbs and gone from a 2xl /18W down to a med/lg shirt and 10/12 pants.  My first goal of 170 is only 15 lbs away!  I am very large boned, so both myself and doctor are very hesitant of going any lower than 160.  I'll figure that out as I get closer to 160.  I would love to thank everyone on this sight for all their insight, success stories and yes the failures and rants too.  They have all kept me accountable for my actions.  I especially want to shout out to Keith who has made me work my ass off with his exercise suggestions.....and BTW Keith, my ass is gone!   Now on to the next part of my journey!

BTW... I will try and post photos.

Great job.  I'll be 4 weeks post on Wednesday and down about 20 lbs.  I can't imagine 71 lbs in 3 months.  Good for you.   Would love to know your secrets.  Thanks for sharing.

Great job! Be careful of shopping addiction. It got me, and as I get smaller my wardrobe gets bigger. LOL

Sorry, no special secrets. I just follow the protein, fluid and exercise program I got from my doctor and tweaked it with OH vets suggestions.  I only eat protein no veggies or carbs yet. I will eventually add stuff, but right now I want to get more bang for my buck.  I just joined a gym, so now I'm going to try to tone up a bit and maybe lose the last 24 lbs.

Thanks for all the encouraging words....and I will watch out for shopping addiction.  Right now I have 2 pairs of pants and 5 shirts. :)
