Hallow Feeling in Stomach, Slight Nausea?

Wondering if this rings any bells for anyone.

I get this some times.  Am thinking it means hunger -- but i have tried to fill it with food and it only got worse (perhaps i tried the wrong foods?),

Any suggestions as to what this might be and how to deal with it would be appreciated.

I really think I need to keep a food log -- it feels like i am eating, but when i think really hard i realise that i really haven't eaten that much all day ... even when i add it all up.

Thanks ...

Try an acid reducer.  I get like that too every so often, and that usually helps.

Sounds like the same symptoms I have with reflux. I'm on a PPI, but I just had to switch I a different one because it wasn't helping my symptoms. I'd definitely call your surgeon to be safe. Ulcers can cause similar symptoms.

Yeah, that's what I has to do too. My scope was perfectly clear though, so hopefully yours will be too! I just had to switch PPIs and am waiting for my next follow up in 2 weeks to see where we are. Good luck!

Yup, definitely sounda as if it could be acid. Different PPIs work differntly among people. I started with prilisec twice a day, then switched to prevacid twice a day. I also take a chewable gaviscon sometimes in the afternoon/evening if I feel unreasonably hungry. Definitely start a food log. My Fitness Pal is great..

MFP is great. I actually think the app is easier to use than the website.
