Are there any protein drinks, powders etc. that don"t taste horrible. I am having difficulty getting in my 60 grams a day. I have tried Isopure, Premier, Unjury , I can't seem to stomach any of them. They smell bad or too thick. Any suggestions would help. I am 6 weeks post Op.

jerky and shrimp have lots of protein

so does cheese omelets, you can also add ham to them

I also like smoked salmon omelets

try adding premier protein shakes to iced decaf instead  of creamer

You can get it from Vitamin Shoppe, but it's a few dollars cheaper on Amazon.

I can't stand the shakes either, but still drink them. I have been able to get 60 grams in through food, but it is sometimes hard. I've been shooting for 80+ grams of protein per day recently, so I have no other option but to drink them.

My go-to shake is EAS Advantage Carb Control Shake - it's soy protein, which I guess isn't as great as whey, but my NUT ok'd it. I also have a bunch of the Sanford Profile from my pre-op diet, which is sold through the health system I had my surgery.  It doesn't taste horrible, but I really don't like the texture of the mix your own powders. Once I'm ok'd for berries I'm going to start making smoothies with them (I'm allergic to bananas or would make them with them).

Also, I do have Premier Protein shakes sometimes but I cannot stand how sweet most of those things are, so I "cut" them with a 1/2 cup or more of original light soy milk. They are still super sweet, but better than without the extra milk.

Anyway, good luck!

I am getting the Premier in by adding ice to it.  Makes it tolerable.  :-(
