Hi All. I am a self pay and I am wondering is there an insurance I can buy that will cover any complications that may arise after my surgery? I have Tricare and they will not cover any complications since I am having this elective surgery. I've googled this and only come up with insurance for plastic surgery patients. TIA

Some surgeons have complication insurance you can buy through their office.  Have you checked with your surgeon?

The surgeon will have access to coverage for you. Speak with his office. If you do the math of a risk analysis, it's not worth it but if money's no object then it might make you feel better.
