What else do I need?

I'd suggest some sort of water flavoring, like Crystal Light or MIO. For some of us plain water doesn't work so well but adding flavoring works. Any kind of herbal tea works really well. One suggestion my doctors office gave was to get some Ramen noodles, but not to eat the actual noodles but for the flavor packets. They tasted so good to me that first month! Good luck on Tuesday! I'm sure you'll do well! :)

Isopure drinks - maybe just 5 of them in assorted flavors - can't remember which flavor I liked the best.  High in protein & easy to sip while recovering.  I drank out of a little shot glass!

I also had a drink warmer for the chicken broth or hot tea - bought the candle warmer at Bed Bath & Beyond & kept drinks warm.

Good luck to you!

Wear loose fitting clothes to and from hospital, you don't want anything too tight. Also Gas X strips, they work wonderful to relieve the gas. Let us know how you are after surgery.

You survived what you thought would kill you. Now straighten your crown and go forward like the Queen you are!

Walmart sells little 2oz. containers with lids. These were a HUGE help immediately after surgery. I still weighed everything, but it was far less intimating to eat it out of the little container than a regular sized bowl. I also had baby spoons. They were okay, but were plastic and I didn't like the taste of them in the beginning.

You're ALMOST there!!!!
